Antique Quilt Crossbody Bag: Americana Star Design, Handmade

Very cool handmade crossbody bag made from an antique quilt that was no longer in a condition to be used as a full quilt. This bag is super soft to the touch because of the antique quilt; I adore the hand quilted stars & the sawtooth star block on the front flap - all make it such a charming bag!

I paired antique brass hardware, zippers & zipper pulls to accent the age of the quilt used.

This bag can be worn crossbody or around the waist (like a belt bag or a fanny pack).

There is one main compartment on this bag with one zippered pocket inside this compartment. There is another zippered pocket on the backside of the bag. The strap is made from cotton webbing & is extendable from 22 inches to 41 inches. Bag body measurements are: 10 inches wide, 7 inches tall & there are gussets towards the base of the bag to allow it to expand up to 2 inches in depth (holding your wallet, phone, etc).

Please note that because the bag was made with an antique quilt there may be very slight imperfections simply due to the quilt's age & prior life. No stains, rips or holes. Any imperfections add to the character of the piece!
